Overview

Founded in 1967 in Pennsylvania, YTI Career Institute has provided career education to students looking to excel in Business, Medical, Technology, and Culinary fields. With four Pennsylvania campuses to choose from, students receive professional training in an academic atmosphere with full student support.

Student Appeal

Career Services, Student Activities, Housing Assistance, Health Insurance, Transportation, and Part-time Job Assistance programs are available through YTI to complement career training. Instructors strive to optimize student learning through individual attention and dedicated support services.

Financial

Financial Aid is available for qualified students and includes Federal Loans and Grants as well as Scholarships. YTI is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.

• Administrative AssistantAdministrative Assistant
  This diploma program offers office-oriented individuals with the skills to effectively assist in the management of a professional office.
• Business AdministrationBusiness Administration
  An Associate in Specialized Business Degree backed by real-world training and professional job shadowing to learn office, marketing, sales, and financial skills. The Management program lasts 21 months and includes an additional three month externship.

Criminal Justice

• Criminal JusticeCriminal Justice
  Students learn fundamental criminal justice skills through this diploma program and are prepared to make an immediate impact in the justice community.
• Criminal Justice & First ResponseCriminal Justice & First Response
  Earn an Associate in Specialized Business Degree in 21 months through hands-on training to develop skills in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement, Security/Corrections, and Emergency Management Services. The program offers further training via a three month externship.

Healthcare

• Dental AssistingDental Assisting
  Develop skills in confirming appointments, billing, material orders, teeth cleaning, x-rays, and casting of teeth through industry-modeled training and a three month externship. Graduates earn a Dental Assisting Diploma in 12 months.
• Emergency Medical TechnologyEmergency Medical Technology
  This program prepares students interested in becoming an EMT with the skills necessary to save lives and take action in emergency situations. Graduates receive a Diploma in as few as 9 months.
• Health Information SpecialistHealth Information Specialist
  Earn a career diploma in as little as 48 weeks while learning fundamental healthcare skill training. Graduates find employment as records techs, insurance billers, clerks, and medical secretaries.
• Massage TherapyMassage Therapy
  Students learn a variety of alternative therapies and massage techniques to apply to professional careers with clinics, medical offices, rehab centers, cruise ships, and corporations. Diplomas may be earned in 48 weeks.
• Medical Administrative AssistantMedical Administrative Assistant
  Develop skills in scheduling appointments, billing patients, coding health insurance, taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, and collecting lab specimens through hands-on training, field trips, and a three month externship. The program lasts 12 months and results in a Medical Office Assistant Diploma.
• Medical AssistantMedical Assistant
  Learn medical administrative skills in scheduling appointments, patient billing, health insurance coding, taking vital signs, assisting with patient examinations, and collecting lab specimens through real-world training and a three month externship. Graduates earn an Associate in Specialized Technology Degree in 21 months.
• Medical Billing & CodingMedical Billing & Coding
  Learn skills for a health care career that does not require direct contact with patients or examination involvement through real-world training. Graduates earn a Medical Coding Diploma in 12 months.
• Pharmacy TechnicianPharmacy Technician
  Train to become an entry-level Pharmacy Technician with education in pharmacology, business, medication prep, insurance billing, communication, and patient relations. Students earn diplomas in 48 weeks before finding employment with a pharmaceutical company, pharmacy, or hospital.

Information Technology

  Develop skills to translate ideas, sketches, and specifications into working plans through either an Architectural/Civil Major or a Mechanical Major. The program lasts 21 months and includes an additional three month externship and results in an Associate in Specialized Technology Degree.
• Computer Systems SpecialistComputer Systems Specialist
  Learn computer hardware, operating systems, application software, and networking through hands-on training from industry-modeled curriculum along with a three month externship to graduate with an Associate in Specialized Business Degree in 21 months.
• Computer Technology and Internet SecurityComputer Technology and Internet Security
  Develop professional skills in networking and personal computer programming. Students are prepared to take certification exams in A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, Security+, Linux+, and Microsoft certifications. Graduates earn a diploma in 72 weeks.
• Electronics Engineering TechnologyElectronics Engineering Technology
  Gain professional knowledge in electronics engineering through hands-on experience and a three month externship. The program lasts for 21 months and results in an Associate in Specialized Technology Degree.

  Earn a career diploma in 12 months through hands-on training in campus shop to prepare for professional employment opportunities in commercial and residential environments.
• Pastry ArtsPastry Arts
  Students blend creativity and professional technique to become professional pastry chefs in restaurants, bakeries, and catering companies. Pastry diplomas are earned in as little as 12 months and include a three-month externship.
• Travel TourismTravel Tourism
  Learn how to choose travel destinations, book flights, find hotel rooms and car rentals, and plan events through real-world training and a three month externship. Graduates earn a Travel Tourism Diploma after 12 months.
