Northwest Christian University provides professional career education with emphasis on community, leadership, and ethical practice. Students may choose from Professional Studies or Graduate programs, conveniently located in Eugene, OR.
Student Appeal
The Professional Studies program at Northwest Christian is designed for working adults and includes Business Administration, Accounting, Human Services, and Health Care Administration programs. Classes meet in the evenings. Graduate programs provide students with the ability to improve their professional goals and opportunities in Business Administration, Education, School Counseling, and Professional Counseling fields.
Financial
Eligible students may receive financial aid in the form of government and private loans, grants, and scholarships. Financial aid advisors are available to help students complete the financial aid process.

Professional Studies
- Business Administration (BA)Business Administration (BA)
The Business Administration program is designed for people seeking entry to mid-level management positions. The course includes topics in communication, decision-making, problem-solving, marketing, finances, human resources, legal issues, leadership, and ethics. This program is offered in Eugene, Klamath Falls, and Roseburg. - Accounting (BA)Accounting (BA)
The purpose is to assist students in the study and integration of accounting theory and practice in a variety of industries and organizations. The accounting program is designed for adults at an entry-level of accounting or management. - Psychology (BA)Psychology (BA)
The purpose of the BA in Psychology is to build a foundation of basic psychological principles and present them in a Christian orientation together with current research findings. In this program, students will study human mental processes and behavior, apply psychology to the understanding and enhancement of their own life and the lives of others, and learn to read, think, and write critically. - Healthcare Administration (BA)Healthcare Administration (BA)
The Healthcare Administration program provides students with knowledge of core principles and concepts in management and business as they relate to healthcare. Areas studied include general management theory, human resource management, statistics, marketing, and finance.

The MBA program provides students with comprehensive knowledge of core concepts and principles relevant to business administration. Subjects include group dynamics, communication, leadership, ethics, finance, and marketing. Students will also complete a Master's level thesis or comprehensive business plan. - Education (M.Ed.)Education (M.Ed.)
Designed for school professionals, educators, and others who want to develop educational competencies for professional growth. Two areas of concentration are available – Curriculum and Instruction designed for those already with a teaching license who are seeking advanced content and knowledge of application, and Instructional Technology designed to train professionals to improve learning and instruction through the coordinated use of instructional materials, human resources and technology. - Professional Counseling (MA)Professional Counseling (MA)
The Professional Counseling program includes courses that help students develop their own personal counseling style as well as those that give them a thorough grounding in concepts and theories relating to the subject. In their second year of study students will spend several hours a week interning in a community counseling agency and will also complete their thesis. - School Counseling (MA)School Counseling (MA)
This program provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to become successful counselors in a private or K-12 public school, and is accredited by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission. Students can choose to focus on early childhood and elementary, or middle and high school counseling.
