The Ulimate Employment Guide for LGBTQ Individuals

Despite the growing presence of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transexual community in the United States, individuals often face discrimination in the workplace, in schools, and even at home. According to Change.org, 39% of LGBT workers have reported discrimination or harassment in the workplace. This discrimination can discourage otherwise qualified jobseekers from pursuing careers in the fields they love. Additionally, anti-gay marriage laws often complicate financial decisions for gay couples, leading to confusion and frustration.

Fortunately, many resources exist to guide people through these processes. Organizations that fight against discrimination in the workplace, in schools, and in the community seek to provide help to the people who need it. The following article contains resources for individuals who feel discriminated against, wish to find employment, or need information about other resources for the LGBT community.
