Overview
Founded in 1979, Las Vegas College offers business, criminal justice, healthcare, and paralegal education to students who might otherwise be unable to attend college. Graduates receive occupational diplomas or associate degrees upon successful completion of a program. Campus is conveniently located in Henderson, Nevada.
Student Appeal
Students learn fundamental competencies while working toward a specialization and an ultimate career goal. Practical learning is stressed to encourage students to directly apply the skills and techniques presented in the classroom, while gaining experience in actual professional simulations. Graduates are groomed to meet industry needs because curriculum is based on employer specifications. Student services include tutoring, student activities, academic and career advising, and career placement assistance. The Learning Resource Center is available to all students for research, reference, and independent education.
Financial
Financial aid is available to qualified students through scholarships and federal loans, grants, and work-study. Students should consult enrollment advisors for more information on paying for school. Las Vegas College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.
