  1. AIE National Community College Transfer Scholarship
  2. Hispanic heritage students planning to transfer to a 4-year accredited school in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam are awarded this scholarship. Applicants must also be enrolled in community college and possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 to qualify for awards between $1,000 and $2,500.
  3. Alfred University Transfer Student Scholarships
  4. Alfred University awards the scholarship of greater value if an applicant qualifies for more than one. A total of 6 awards from $5,000 to $14,000 are presented based on need, leadership skills, art portfolio merit, and academic success.
  5. American International College Scholarships for Transfer Students
  6. Students must document at least 12 transferable credits to qualify for American International College scholarships. Awards run from $3,500 to $14,000 and are based on applicants number of credits and GPA.
  7. Aquinas College Transfer Scholarships
  8. Aquinas College issues five transfer scholarships to academic distinguished foreign students and others with a 3.0 to 3.5 GPA. All scholarships may be renewed based on the student’s academic record of achievement.
  9. Arthur H. Goodman Memorial Scholarship

  12. Offers scholarships from $1,000 to $10,000 based on financial need, GPA, degree, academic excellence, and alumni relationships. There are 12 separate scholarships based on combinations of the criteria.

  24. Full-time transfer students holding an approved Associate’s degree from Cuyahoga Community College, Lorain County Community College or Lakeland Community College may qualify. The $1,000 award can be combined with the Transfer Scholar’s Award. The applicants cumulative GPA minimum of 2.75 is required.
  25. C.W. Post Co-op Scholarship
  26. Registered full-time students, paying the flat undergraduate tuition rate , with a cumulative average GPA of 3.5 or better may compete for up to ten $6,000 scholarships. These are provided to high school seniors and transfer students planning to participate in Cooperative Education at C.W. Post.
  27. Canisius College Transfer Student Scholarship
  28. You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to qualify and scholarships are renewable for a total of 6 undergraduate semesters if student is full time and maintains a 2.0 GPA. If you are accepted for transfer admission to Canisius you will automatically be evaluated for awards ranging from $4,000 to $12,000 based entirely on academic merit.
  29. Carl Sandburg - Lombard Scholarships
  30. Academic achievement and extensive involvement in their school or community is key to winning this $10,000 award. Applicants must fill out required paperwork and submit an essay along with letters of recommendation. An interview may be required too. Funds may be used at public or private universities depending on the scholarship stipulations.
  31. Centenary College of Louisiana Academic Scholarships for Transfer Students
  32. All students that have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from all attended colleges are automatically eligible for scholarship consideration when they transfer, for the 3 academic scholarships that range from $6,000 to $10,000. Automatic renewal for up to 3 years is earned by full time status and maintenance of a 2.5 GPA. Trustee’s, Deans’ and President’s scholarships are for high school grads that ranked in the top 40%, 25% and 20% respectively of their class. They must also show that they held a weighted core GPA of 3.25, 3.5, and 3.8 respectively, at the time of graduation.

  40. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to four year college and university geography majors transferring from community, junior, and city colleges or similar institution. This national scholarship program makes selections based financial need, academic potential, academic excellence and the overall quality of the application.
  41. Englehorn Family Scholarships
  42. A minimum required GPA of 3.0 and student filed FAFSA is a must. First generation college students are favored. Transfer students with a crucial financial need who participate in UniversityLink or TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee) programs may qualify for this $4,000 scholarship.
  43. EPCC Transfer Scholarship
  44. A 2-year $1,000 scholarship to help first time transfer students obtain a degree and make the transition from El Paso Community College to UTEP a smooth and affordable transition is offered. Applicants that are 45 transferable credit hours from EPCC and maintain a 3.0 GPA are eligible.
  45. Florida Atlantic University Scholarships for Transfer Students
  46. Offered on a rolling basis early in the admission process, these are limited scholarships available only for fall and spring terms. FAU provides 9 awards from $1,000 to $3,200 per year for incoming transfer students and with a minimum GPA of 3.0 most can be renewed for 5 semesters or 2 years.
  47. Florida International University Honors College Scholarships for Transfer Students
  48. Scholarship winners must participate in Honors College, maintain enrollment in 15 credits per term and maintain a cumulative 3.3. GPA. FIU gives 5 scholarships from $750 per semester to full-time tuition transfer students from Community Colleges in Florida for outstanding academic achievement and total service record. They must have a minimum 3.3 GPA and their letters of recommendation plus extracurricular activities will be considered.
  49. Grand Traverse MSU Alumni Club Endowed Scholarship
  50. The scholarship amount will vary based on applicant’s academic performance and extracurricular activities guided by standardized test scores and GPA. It is only awarded to Grand Traverse area high school graduates or transfer students from NW Michigan College who are transferring to MSU. You may qualify by filling out an application, submit recommendation letters, supply an essay, and/or participate in an interview.
  51. Hanover College Garritt Achievement Scholarship
  52. The number of scholarships and amounts vary each year as a determination is made based on transfer students demographics. Basis for awards include scholastic accomplishment, interviews and extracurricular activities.
  53. Hawaii Pacific University Scholarships for Transfer Students
  54. HPU gives 10 awards from $2,000 to $6,500 per year to transfer students with a documented minimum cumulative 3.0 or 3.5 GPA for each award category. Nearly all scholarships may be renewed for one to three year periods.
  55. Helen Matthewson Club (HMC) Memorial Scholarship
  56. California residents that are transfer or undergraduate students at the University of California, Los Angeles qualify for the HMC Memorial Scholarship. You must submit documentation proving you are at least partially self-supporting, have financial need, and are full-time, continuing, transfer, or returning students.
  57. Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholarships for Community College Students

  60. Community college and transfer students with a minimum required cumulative GPA from 2.0 to 3.20 are eligible to compete for 8 different scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per year.
  61. Idaho State University Scholarships for New Transfer Students
  62. New transfer students going to ISU may compete for 8 different scholarships after applying for admission and submitting required transcripts with their test scores. Selections for awards are contingent upon available funds, ranking in the application pool, and GPA.
  63. Indiana State University Scholarships for Entering Transfer Students
  64. Transfer students entering Indiana State University who will study 12 or more credit hours every semester may compete for 10 different scholarships from $500 to $12,000 annually. Criteria demands students begin their study in fall term which requires you be admitted to ISU no later than June 1st for the fall semester.
  65. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation- Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship
  66. To be eligible for this $30,000 scholarship, applicants must be nominated by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Rep at their 2-year institution. Applicants must be outstanding community college students must have financial need to transfer to and complete their BA degree at one of the nation’s top 4-year colleges or universities. Nominees will be evaluated on academic achievement, financial need, will to succeed, critical thinking ability, and their breadth of interest and activities. The assessment will be conducted by a review panel of distinguished university faculty members and professionals.
  67. Kent State University Scholarships for Transfer Students
  68. Transfer students with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 or 3.0 can compete for scholarships from $3,700 to $4,700 per year toward the out-of-state surcharge. Additional scholarships for incoming freshman students, based on GPA and test scores, are offered in the $500-$4,700 range.
  69. Knox College Carl Sandburg-Lombard Scholarships
  70. Annual awards are made to qualified Carl Sandburg college graduates or sophomores based on academic achievement and noteworthy extracurricular accomplishment that plan to study at Knox College. The awards range from $1,000 to $2,000 per year. Awards may be renewed one time with a recommendation from the administration.
  71. Lansing 2+2+2 Scholarship
  72. Lansing area high school grads transferring from Lansing Community College to MSU to specifically pursue engineering degrees may garner one of these variable amount scholarships. The 2+2+2 Engineering Program is a cooperative venture in partnership with the Lansing School District, Lansing Community College and Michigan State University.
  73. Lebanon Valley College Academic Recognition Scholarship
  74. Lebanon Valley College may renew this half-tuition transfer student scholarship for a maximum of five semesters if students have maintained full-time enrollment at LVC, kept a 3.0 GPA, and have a record that reflects continuous good social standing. Students must have completed a 2-year transfer program or completed their AA degree and achieved membership in Phi Theta Kappa.
  75. Loras College Transfer Scholarships and Grants
  76. All 5 different renewable tuition awards for qualified, incoming, full-time transfer students graduating from high school are based on GPA. The scholarships fall between $1,000 and $10,000 for successful applicants.
  77. Miami University Pathways Scholarship
  78. Students transferring directly from an accredited Ohio community college to Miami University are may be eligible for this award of $3,000 if they have attended the junior college for 2 years or earned 24 semester or 36 quarter hours while maintaining a 3.40 minimum GPA.
  79. Michigan State University Transfer Scholarships
  80. Incoming MSU transfer students are eligible for 5 different scholarships based on extracurricular activities and academic excellence. Award amounts vary year to year.
  81. National Competitive Scholarships
  82. Private agencies and government entities fund National Competitive scholarships designed for students in fields like environment, languages, government, engineering and science. There are even a limited number of full ride scholarships.
  83. National University Community Scholarship
  84. An agreement between National University and California Community College provides a waiver for the $60 standard application fee required by transfer students and provide scholarships to every community college transfer student. That will pay for the student’s final 2 classes in their degree program. There are 3 types of scholarships available for transferring students, from $1,600 to $2,700, who are in good academic standing at the time of application.
  85. Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarships
  86. Phi Theta Kappa members can compete for more than $36 million in transfer scholarships offered by nearly 700 colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada, and London.
  87. Rider College Scholarships for Transfer Students
  88. Rider University’s provides Community College, Phi Theta Kappa, and merit-based transfer student scholarships that range from $1,000 to $12,500 annually. Eligibility requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 and completion of at least 12 coursework credits at the college level. Scholarships will be renewed if awarded student enrolls in 12 or more credits per semester while maintaining a 2.50 cumulative GPA at Rider.
  89. Saint Louis University Scholarships for Transfer Students
  90. SLU gives GPA based merit scholarships to 5 transfer students each year that range from $8,000 to $15,000 per year. Applicants must meet specific scholarship program criteria, be attending SLU for the first time, working toward their first BA degree and have been admitted as a full-time undergraduate.
  91. San Francisco State University Community College Transfer Scholarship Program
  92. Applicants must have a Hispanic heritage and be in pursuit of their first undergraduate or graduate degree. Transfer students admitted to SF State with proven financial need and a minimum 3.0 GPA may qualify for an award of $1,000 to $5,000 if they are enrolled part or full time at a community college and plan to transfer to a 4-year U.S. accredited institution. That institution must be in Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, or the United States. Students with passports stamped I-551 are eligible.
  93. Simon Fraser University Scholarships for Transfer Students
  94. Exceptional academic, community, artistic, or athletic achievements of BC College and University transfer students interested in studying at FU can apply for entrance scholarships. International students, Canadian citizens and permanent residents may apply for the Honorable William H. Hamilton scholarship.
  95. Simpson College Scholarships for Transfer Students
  96. Awards from $1,000 to full tuition are based on alumni relationships, extracurricular activities, plus academic performance and potential. There are 15 total transfer student scholarships available.
  97. Southern Illinois University Carbondale College of Engineering Transfer Student Scholarships
  98. Transfer students compete for four scholarships from $500 to $14,000 judged on academic performance, completed coursework and other achievements to enter the College of Engineering.

  104. Some of the 11 different academic scholarships require proof of financial need to win a $1,000 to $2,500 award in addition to a reputation as an outstanding undergraduate transfer student, a strong overall academic record, and a completed scholarship application.
  105. The Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration
  106. Ten Entrepreneurial Scholarships of $1,000 per year for 2 years go to students with a minimum required 3.5 GPA to attend the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration.
  107. The Sallie Mae Fund- Community College Transfer Scholarship
  108. Latino students may be awarded a $2,500 scholarship if they are transferring to an accredited and approved higher education institution from a community college. Offered in partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund it requires that applicants be of Hispanic Heritage, a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or I-551 (not expired) stamped passport and be enrolled part or full time at a community college. You must apply for federal financial aid and have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
  109. UC Community College Transfer Scholarships
  110. A maximum of fifty $2,100 yearly scholarships go to transfer students with a minimum GPA of 3.25 and an AA degree completed prior to fall transfer to UC. Scholarships may be renewed. Students must transfer directly from a degree granting community college to a UC uptown campus, non-distance learning, and baccalaureate program.
  111. UMBC Merit Scholarships for Incoming Transfer Students
  112. Academic Achievement Award and PTK Award require completion of 35 and 30 credits respectively at the time application is made for one of the 2 competitive merit scholarships. Incoming transfer students with a 3.5 minimum cumulative GPA that are awarded one of the $2,500 two year scholarships may use it for full or part time study.
  113. UNF Transfer Scholarships
  114. UNF provides 4 scholarships to incoming transfer students based on academic merit and/or financial need, leadership positions, community activities, funds availability and additional criteria. Awards range from $1,600 to $2,000 and students must have completed the FAFSA.
  115. University of Alabama Scholarships for Transfer Students
  116. Scholarships from $1,000 per year to full time will be awarded to 8 transfer students from a 2-year college with a 3.5 or higher GPA.
  117. University of Houston Transfer Student Scholarship
  118. Scholarship awards from $800 to $1,000 are available contingent upon the application and are renewable for students who transfer with a 2.75 or higher GPA. Applicants must be undergraduate students eligible to pay in-state tuition rate and have not attended UHCL.
  119. University of Iowa Scholarships for Transfer Students
  120. Scholarship committee will consider financial need, semester hours earned, GPA and other criteria when awarding 10 scholarships to new transfer undergraduates enrolled full time. The awards range from $200 to full tuition.

  126. Students pursuing a liberal arts major with a liberal arts degree that are academically talented must be enrolled in 30 semester credits over the supported scholarship year or intend to receive their BA from CLA to qualify for one of two $3,000 College of Liberal Arts Alumni scholarships.
  127. University of Nebraska- Lincoln Transfer Student Scholarships
  128. UNL considers various criteria for different scholarships including GPA, total credit earned credit hours, completed semester hours, test scores, Phi Theta Kappa membership and financial need when awarding amounts ranging from $500 to full non-resident tuition fees to incoming transfer students.
  129. University of North Florida Scholarships for Transfer Students
  130. All four $1,600 to $2,000 incoming transfer scholarships may be renewed. Criteria for awards includes academic merit, financial need, leadership positions, community activities, and available funds.
  131. University of North Texas Transfer Student Scholarships
  132. Three students transferring for a Texas community college to an accredited Texas University may qualify for a scholarship from $1,500 to $4,000 based on cumulative GPA.
  133. University of Texas at Tyler Transfer Scholarship
  134. Transfer Presidential Scholarships are provided to incoming junior/community college transfer students that have completed four regular semesters as full time students or a minimum of 59 semester hours with documentation showing a cumulative 3.3 GPA on all junior/community college course work. These $2,000 awards are renewable.
  135. University of Utah Transfer Resident/Non-Resident Scholarships
  136. Resident and non-resident transfer students may apply for a variety of $1,000 to full ride scholarships based on departments, diversity, leadership, or merit.
  137. Ursuline College Scholarships for Transfer Students
  138. Consideration is given to the college level curriculum an applicant has taken along with the minimum 3.0 GPA and overall academic performance when awarding renewable $7,500 scholarships to transfer and part time students.
  139. UT Dallas Transfer Academic Excellence Scholarship
  140. The award for this scholarship runs from $500 to $2,000 and is based on GPA. Applicants that major in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Software or Telecommunications Engineering may be eligible for an additional $500 per semester for a total of two semesters.
  141. Warren Wilson College Transfer Scholarship
  142. Transfer students must have filed a FAFSA, demonstrate financial need, and have posted a minimum GPA of 3.0 to qualify for $500 scholarships.
