  2. This $1,250 scholarship is for African Americans, Asians, Hispanics, Native Americans, and males who want to pursue an education in the field of dental hygiene.
  3. Adopt a Student Minority Scholarship
  4. This $2,000 scholarship is for minority students pursuing a degree in journalism. This scholarship is renewable as long as the recipient maintains a “C” average.
  5. AICPA Minority Scholarship
  6. This scholarship, worth up to $5,000, is for African American, Alaskan American, Asian American, Chinese American, Japanese American, Mexican American, Native American, Hispanic, and Latino students majoring in accounting. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and must be able to show financial need and academic accomplishments.
  7. American Hotel Foundation Minority Scholarship
  8. This $1,000 scholarship is for minority students attending the University of Missouri – Columbia who works in the hotel industry. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  9. AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students
  10. This fellowship, worth up to $12,000 per year, is for Black/African American, Native American, or Hispanic/Latino students pursuing a doctoral CPA degree. To be eligible, applicants must have earned a master’s degree or have worked in the accounting field for three years and must be attending school full time.
  11. Ann and Charles Rosenthal Minority Scholarship
  12. This $3,500 scholarship is for students attending the State University of New York at Binghamton. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must be able to show financial need as well as academic success. African Americans are encouraged to apply.
  13. AMS Industry Minority Scholarship
  14. This $3,000 scholarship is for African-American, Native American, and Hispanic students who are pursuing a degree in atmospheric science, oceanic science, hydrologic science or meteorology.
  15. APA- AIA Minority Scholarship Program
  16. Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) offers an annual scholarship of $3,000 to an undergraduate in any country in the field of classical studies. Emphasis is on proposals such as summer programs of field schools abroad as well as institutional language training in Canada, Europe or U.S. Eligibility is based upon academic classic qualifications both in language and studies as well as other prerequisites. Diversity of race includes Asian/Pacific Islander, Black, Hispanic/non-Hispanic and Native American.
  17. Association for Women’s Geoscientist Minority Scholarship
  18. This $6,000 scholarship is for women of African-American, Native American or Hispanic descent who are pursuing a degree in geosciences.
  19. Bailey Minority Scholarship
  20. Ten scholarships, worth $500 each, will be awarded to students studying abroad at a council study program. To be eligible, applicants must be members of an underrepresented group.

To be eligible, applicants must be residents of the United States or Canada and must have completed at least half of their academic requirements.

  66. This scholarship, worth $1,500 to $3,000, is for minority students who are pursuing a degree at the University of Florida that would enable them to be employed in the journalism and newspaper advertising fields.

Preference is given to residents of Knoxville, Tennessee. Secondary preference is given to residents of East Tennessee, other regions of Tennessee, and residents of the Southeastern United States.

  92. This $1,250 scholarship is for Hispanic and African-American students who are pursuing a degree in the business and communications field at Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. First-semester freshmen are ineligible.

  96. This $3,000 scholarship is for minority students pursuing an undergraduate degree in advertising or print journalism. Preference is given to students from Saint Petersburg, Florida.
  97. SUNY Binghamton Minority Scholarship
  98. Minority Scholarship - SUNY Binghamton offers a scholarship award offered to college students who succeed in the classroom and in the community. Recipients can utilize the scholarship at private or public institutions. The scholarship assists with tuition. For considered candidates not only file an application but might need to compose an essay, provide letters of recommendations or be interviewed. Scholarship is for both private or public institutions.
  99. KATU Thomas Dargan Minority Scholarship
  100. This scholarship, worth $6,000, is for Asian, Hispanic/Latino, Alaska Native, Native American, black/African-American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students who are pursuing a degree in broadcasting or communications. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, must be attending a school in or be a resident of Washington or Oregon, and must be in their second year of an accredited institution.

  102. This $2,000 scholarship is for Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American, African-American, and Hispanic-American students pursuing a degree in business or economics who are residents in an area with a U.S. Bank.
  103. University of Memphis Minority Scholarship
  104. AFROTC Express Scholarship assists both non-minority and minority university students who are aspiring for degrees pertaining to Air Force specialties. A minimum 2.65 college GPA is necessary in order to apply. Eligible minorities can apply regardless of their choice of an academic major but non-minority students will need to contact the college department with their desired academic majors. These scholarships can be obtained for two to three years. They cover books, fees and full tuition. A $200 nontaxable monthly subsistence is provided also.
