A high school degree is required to become a motocycle mechanic. It takes approximately two years to complete an Associate's of Applied Sciences in Motorcycle Repair. It is also possible to get a Certificate in Motorcycle Repair, or two immediately begin apprentice work in a motorcycle shop, although this is now much less common.
