Paralegals are the foot soldiers of the legal profession. An increasing number of law firms are hiring paralegals to handle some of the more basic tasks of lawyers. Most individuals in this career have either an associate in paralegal studies or a bachelor's degree in a related field coupled with a certificate in paralegal studies from an accredited institution.
