Biology/Biochemistry
Ask a Question
In a biology/biochemistry program you will study the chemical combinations and reactions that make up an organism's life processes, such as its metabolism, reproduction, and growth. A degree in biology/biochemistry is a solid foundation for a medical, dental, or veterinary school, or, if you wish to pursue graduate education in biology, a job as a researcher. Without pursuing further education, a holder of a bachelor's degree in biology can work as a research assistant or as a technical sales person or service representative for one of the many pharmaceutical or chemical companies that need employees with a sound knowledge of biochemistry. Related degrees include physics, chemistry, geology, astronomy, and other sciences.
