Hospitality managers plan, organize, and oversee the day-to-day operations of an establishment by preparing budgets, hiring and managing staff, keeping apprised of trends and customer needs, and developing and modifying policies. Those who wish to pursue careers in this field may obtain a certificate, associate's degree, or more commonly, a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution offering hotel management, or tourism and hospitality programs.
