Architecture
Ask a Question
Architects design buildings, houses, and other structures using blueprints, three-dimensional models, and computer-based drafting programs. Those who wish to pursue careers in architecture will usually obtain at least a bachelor's degree from a school with an architecture program that is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board. In addition, students must pass the Architect Registration Examination in order to become licensed. The median annual salary for architects in 2006 was $64,150, and employment in this field is expected to grow by 18 percent by 2016.
