Physical Therapy Degrees

Physical therapists help accident victims and individuals with disabling conditions improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. They work in hospitals, clinics, private offices, homes, nursing care facilities, outpatient care centers, and schools. Job opportunities for physical therapists are many and growing, especially in acute hospital, rehabilitation, and orthopedic settings, where the elderly are most often treated. Employment of physical therapists is expected to grow by an astonishing 27 percent between 2006 and 2016. Median salary is $66,200.
