Pharmacy technicians work in retail pharmacies, hospitals, wholesale, online pharmacies, and government organizations. They prepare and dispense medications and perform many other tasks needed to keep pharmacies running smoothly. Entry-level salaries average $30,000, while pharmacy technician supervisors earn on average $45,000.
