EMT Technician Degrees
Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) are the first line of response in a medical emergency. They arrive on the scene to provide basic care and stabilize the patient. There are three different levels of training an EMT can receive: EMT-basics, EMT-intermediate, and EMT-paramedic. Those with higher level training can treat more ailments and should expect a higher salary. Nationwide, volunteer EMTs are being replaced by paid and formally trained EMTs, so their employment is expected to grow faster than average with the best opportunities available to those with advanced certifications.- All
