Shorter College's roots can be traced to 1873, when it opened as a school for young ladies in 1873. Today, the school is a highly regarded liberal arts Southern Baptist-affiliated college with three locations throughout Georgia. The school offers a range of Associate, Bachelor and Master degrees in areas including Business Administration, Early Childhood Education and Human Services.
