Founded in 1994, Professional Training Centers is a career college located in Miami, Florida. The school strives to provide its students with outstanding educational programs within the allied health fields as well as to help its graduates find rewarding jobs.

  • Diagnostic Medical SonographyDiagnostic Medical Sonography
    This Occupational Associate's Degree program seeks to prepare students for employment as Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as well as to provide additional training to students are currently employed in the field. Students may choose from several specialty areas to focus on.
  • General StudiesGeneral Studies
    The Associate of Arts in General Studies program allows students to gain a liberal arts education and prepare for continued study or immediate professional impact in a variety of areas.
  • Medical AssistingMedical Assisting
    Students in the Medical Assistant program take classes on a variety of topics including Medical Office Management, Billing, Coding, and Finance Management, Fundamentals of Clinical Medical Assisting, Medical Specialties, Radiography, Electrocardiography and Diagnostic Procedures.
  • Medical Insurance Coding SpecialistMedical Insurance Coding Specialist
    In this Diploma program, students learn to work in a variety of settings to prepare for careers as entry level coders, medical record coders, coding technicians or clerks, or medical coding/billing specialists. Students learn to accurately assign codes to medical diagnoses as well as to ensure that clients receive the appropriate reimbursement from insurance companies and government agencies.
  • Pharmacy TechnicianPharmacy Technician
    Students in this program learn to enter prescription orders, help pharmacists fill and label prescriptions, maintain accurate patient records and insurance information and a wide variety of other duties. Students graduating from this program can expect to find work in pharmacies, hospitals, wholesale industries, and government agencies.
