Michigan Institute of Aviation and Technology provides students with training in high-income aviation and technology careers with only 7 to 20 months of training. These careers are in high demand and offer excellent pay and benefits, in addition to job security.

Financial
MIAT is accredited by ACCSCT, and financial aid is available and varies for those who qualify. MIAT's Financial Aid Office makes it their mission to help students determine and maximize eligibility for financial aid, including: student loans, grants, scholarships and alternative financing.

- Aviation MaintenanceAviation Maintenance
Designed for students looking for stability and great career options in aviation and non-aviation career fields, the Aviation Maintenance Technician program offers a wide range of more than 40 different technical skills and become a federally licensed FAA Aircraft Technician. Graduates can have job stability, excellent benefits and can work in a variety of settings. - Power TechnologyPower Technology
If you want to join the global energy revolution and travel the most dynamic career paths of the future, then train for the skills and physical challenges of a power technology career. MIAT will train you to perform testing with precision measuring equipment, maintain and repair power turbines and generators, install advanced power equipment to meet safety and efficiency standards, and expertly operate boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors and generators. As an MIAT Power Technology graduate, you can become a Power Technician, Wind Turbine Technician, Power Plant Operator or more. - Transportation and DispatchTransportation and Dispatch
Transportation Dispatch training is highly diverse and transferable to enable graduates to apply their education to a variety of fields. This program will turn you it into an in-demand dispatcher who is paid well to expertly run and troubleshoot complex field operations in job environments as varied as emergency services to air traffic control.
The hands-on training preferred by employers and provided by MIAT requires relocation to Michigan. MIAT has a student housing program and relocation would be necessary.
