Overview
Founded in 1987, Institute of Business and Medical Careers provides professional training, preparation, and career support for students interested in a career in the business or medical profession. Working adults and new students interested in a fresh career can earn a certificate or diploma in 19 months or less. Institute of Business and Medical Careers has campuses in Fort Collins, CO and Cheyenne, WY.
Student Appeal
Students benefit from hands-on training from industry experts with field-tested experience. Flexible morning, afternoon, and evening classes are designed to fit around busy family and work commitments, without sacrificing quality of education. Graduates of IBMC are prepared for immediate entry-level employment. Career placement assistance and job training are available to all students and alumni, along with free lifetime career refresher courses. Additional student resources include tutoring, social organizations, academic advising, conflict resolution assistance, and student organizations.
Financial
Qualified students may receive financial aid, including federal loans, grants, and work-study; institutional scholarships; and interest-free payment options. Several programs incorporate clinical externship programs.
