Overview
Since 1881, Central Pennsylvania College has provided students with hands-on training and educational opportunities for a variety of careers. The school has two locations in central Pennsylvania - Summerdale and Lancaster – and it also offers comprehensive programs entirely online. Choose from bachelor degree programs, associate degree programs, or certificate programs for job training skills.

Student Appeal
Students are drawn to Central Pennsylvania College for more than the high quality of education offered. The selection of online programs offers busy adults the flexibility to continue their education while maintaining a busy lifestyle. Many instructors also work in their related field so students get the latest information to apply to their ensuing career. A fully-trained staff is also on-hand to help students meet all of their academic needs.

Financial
The school offers several programs and a financial aid staff to help students find options for paying or lowering their tuition. Grants, scholarships, and loans are available to eligible students. Regardless of financial status, students are encouraged to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and contact the Financial Aid Office for more options.

      Our degree program prepares and provides students extensive skill building in journalism and public relations, writing, desktop publishing, photography and advertising theory. Effective communicators will be in demand as the world becomes more technologically advanced.
    • Criminal Justice AdministrationCriminal Justice Administration
      Concepts and skills used in law enforcement and administration fields comprise the bulk of this curriculum. Court procedure, civil law, prosecutorial procedures and prevention strategies are the main topics. Upon completion, graduates find positions as police officers, nuclear security, fraud investigators and other criminal justice-related fields.

      Students wishing to enter pre-law programs and those who already possess an associate degree comprise the bulk of this program. The curriculum focuses on legal research, legal documents, cyber law and criminal procedures, among other important topics in the field. A fully-stocked library on campus allows for easy and comprehensive research.

      Prepare for employment in the public or private sector, law enforcement, intelligence, or local, state or federal agencies. This academically rigorous program is designed to provide graduates with a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system, bodies of law, and specialty subject matter relative to unique career ambitions.

      Business planning, starting a small business, and creating loan requests for businesses are the main topics covered in this program. Students also learn basic accounting, marketing and management skills as well as training with the latest business software. Graduates can either opt for placement with one of the school's business partners or venture out on their own with the skills they have received.

Governmental sectors and manufacturing topics are covered as they relate to accounting as well. Upon completion, students find jobs as bookkeepers, bankers, financial advisors and other fields related to financial careers.
    • Death InvestigationDeath Investigation
      An experienced staff provides hands-on training and instruction for this advanced program related to criminal justice. Topics include analytical problem-solving skills, research, law enforcement skills and others. Small class sizes allow for personalized instruction when needed.
    • Human ResourcesHuman Resources
      Students typically benefit most from this program when taken in conjunction with a BA degree or with a Continuing Education certificate. The curriculum focuses on problem-solving skills in the workplace as well as interpersonal relations and diversity training. Graduates find well-paying jobs as specialists in recruitment, training, development and job analysis, just to name a few.
    • Intelligence AnalysisIntelligence Analysis
      Students in this certificate program receive the latest training for dealing with the war on terrorism and other vital concerns in today's changing world. Law research and problem-solving are the main topics for this intense program. Graduates find jobs in governmental sectors and other private organizations.
