Overview
Located in Austin, TX, the Allied Health Careers trains students for successful careers in the medical and health fields. Currently, the school offers programs in Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Personal Fitness Training and Pharmacy Technician. Courses are practical and career-oriented so that students can focus on the information they need to succeed in their chosen career paths. Programs are designed for students who want to make careers out of helping people. Emphasis is placed on keeping up-to-date with rapidly changing technologies.

- Dental AssistantDental Assistant
The Dental Assistant program is for students who want to work with dentists chairside. Graduates of this program are prepared with a variety of skills including preparing instrument trays, instructing patients about good oral hygiene and keeping good patient records and supplies. - Medical AssistantMedical Assistant
The Medical Assistant program provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge they need to competently assist doctors in their offices as well as in other health care settings. Students take courses to learn how to assists with exam room prep, how to take vital signs, give injections and more. - Personal Fitness TrainingPersonal Fitness Training
This program trains students to be Certified Personal Trainers. Students learn about a wide variety of topics including health, nutrition, muscle building and more. All students must complete a boot camp in Las Vegas before the certification is completed. - Pharmacy TechnicianPharmacy Technician
Students in the Pharmacy Technician program learn about providing medication to patients as well as about performing a wide range of functions in a working pharmacy. Some of the many topics students take courses in include handling prescriptions, answering telephones, pharmacy and medical office administration, taking refill requests and more.
