I also went to this school is 2002 for Accounting. I agree the computers and teachers were well outdated...Didnt learn anything new!! No, none of the credits transfer. Currently, I owe Salliemae $10,000 and if I pay the minimum due of $92.14 it will take me 13 years to pay off. I wish I could sue them, but I guess thats not an option since they changed their name to Wright Career College...
I am way too familiar with this school -check out the schools "accreditation" - NO other schools will accept transfer credits from this school. If you are just a little bit smart - go to another college! It's cheaper and better. Wright recruits from the homeless shelters and promises them a "refund" check. OUCH!
That's my taxes paying for these bums to go to class just long enough to pick up a refund check from their Pell Grant (after Wright collected interest for several weeks first). Never see them again... what a crock! Most of their instructors don't even have an Associate's Degree!!! Facts are Friends.
Ask their Admissions people straight out - about transfer credits, job placement, etc. BTW, I heard the Campus Director (with his Internet Degree) will not talk to students or return their calls... he just text messages his ugly wife all day.
I started at Wright in April and was told you can test out of classes at the beginning of each semester, the library is available to students and we work with your schedule. So far it is all just a ruse to get your money, you pay more for what you get and it is unacceptable. I couldn't finish projects because "classes" were being held in the library.
I had to take courses that I could have tested out of because you have to test out of "every class" the first week of your entire "degree" program not per semester. I have o argue and get docked attendence because I have to work and they make it a hassle and then you have to retake classes and pay more money. If you have to take out loans to go to this school, my advice, go somewhere where it is worth the money you put out for your education, don't waste your time here.
I am a graduate of Wright Career College which is the same school and I really like the school and the teachers. Everyone there is helpful and will make sure you are getting everything that you need to become successful. I am now re-enrolled there and I'm getting an Associates Degree in Software Admin/Office Admin.
