I went to the University of Phoenix to get an associates in Business. I took the accelerated courses, which meant five weeks for each course. The assignments were fairly easy, but there was much reading and writing that I had to do for each class. I had to make sure that I logged into the classes everyday! The class was comprised of instructor's instruction, individual coursework, and group projects.
I had good classmate interactions, but sometimes professors did not provide feedback in a prompt manner. I communicated with professors and classmates through forums and e-mail. We were able to upload our documents onto the forums. The textbooks and journal articles were easily accessible through the University's website. When the course was over, though, the online textbook was no longer accessible. Students were also able to receive assistance through a tool that proofread student's papers and provided instant feedback. Since I am a working professional, I would attend University of Phoenix again.
