The people in my classes are approachable. Classes are definitely challenging. All classes are taught by professors, but TAs are allowed to run the discussion classes.
Professors are required to hold office hours so you can go and ask questions. Most professors post their classes powerpoint slides online so you also have access to that.

Fantastic experience! Classes are set up WebTycho, UMUC's interactive, Web-based course management system. It allows the student to have 24/7 access to class agendas, message boards, email and live chats with faculty and fellow students.
UM online classes were developed as online classes which allows them to flow smoothly and really takes advantage of online tools. Plus, I was able to work classes into my schedule on my time. The university even helped place me at an accounting firm where I am working toward my CPA!
