I attended and graduted from this school, but I would not recommend anyone to attend this school. The staff seem nice at first but once they get you in there you see the true light. The instructors may or may not be qualified/certified in the field they are teaching. In one Mod we had 3 instructors, one that got fired for fraternizing and she always had issues going on that affected our class time, one that had no clue about the subject she was instructing and one who was willing to take payments from students to pass the tests. We had to go through **** just to get a qualified instructor. When our externship started is when we found out that PCT's are just another name for a CNA but it costs a whole lot more for the training. We had to fight to go to an externship site that actually could give us hands on training for the field we went to school for. The school does not have externship sites for PCT's so don't let them fool you, you will only be going to externship as a CNA. The cost of the CNA program vs the PCT program is about a $13,000 difference but they don't tell you that. I was fortunate to get the externship site I wanted only because I was fighting with them on it. I got the training I needed only from my externship site and was fortunate enough to be offered a job by them with no help from the school. Be very careful if you are considering this school because they are scam artist and have at least 2 law suits pending against them. The staff from top to bottom can not be trusted, they will lie to you and not think anything about it, they are unprofessional and unqualified for the positions they hold. The DOE is no better than the rest of them, he doesn't care how his staff runs the school and he does not listen to the students concerns.

I took a class at this school and, after 2 years, I still have NO job! Their only "job placement" attempts are ads from craigslist! I can find those myself! They have no connections, this place is a scam! When I have found openings in this field, they have told me that UMA's certificate is no good as an accredited school! My instructor's name was Rachel Gebo and I found out later that she isn't even certified to be an instructor! She didn't even go to college! I am amazed by the scam this place is running!
