Save your money. Just like the other two review written here, you have to find your own externship. What is with that. They can take your money and you do what your suppose to do and then you have to do their job and find your own externship and job.

You could most likely get a job and learn everything as on the job training and saved all that money. As far as getting your foot in the door, well that is bull.

Medical assistant class.

My experience at UEI was very bad, honestly i dislike this school a lot. My opinion is it is a waste of your time but most importantly a waste of all your money. My 13,650 - down the drain it went because i wasted my time at a dumb school that is never organized, people are never on time, business is never being handled and dealt with correctly, and most of all i didn't learn anything.

It is very simple to say i will never recommend anyone to this school nor campus or ever return for any help or any other classes. They are never there for you and if you speak with them there words are very false and fake. I can really say that I did not learn anything at all in that school. So i know nothing about what i studied for or in my field.

I found my own externship site. And my recommendation is to attend a better school investigate the school you choose at first. There is not enough chairs or they over book our class so therefore it is stuffed and there is no room and only one instructor. Instructors change and never set to one because they are very unorganized.

good luck make your decisions wisely.

The Medical Assistant Program offered at UEI is great. The whole staff made it very easy and met every expectation that I had for the school. I learned about medical terminology, physical anatomy and physiology along with clerical and clinical topics. I landed a job within 1 week of finishing my intrenship. Thanks for for everthing.

Massage Therapy Certificate

The program at United Education Institute is fantastic- besides the traditional training in human anatomy and physiology, I appreciated that they spent a significant amount of time on newer concerns such as the interactions between common medical treatments and massage therapy and current medical knowledge about the role massage therapy has in a healthy lifestyle.

From day one UEI staff make it clear that we will learn most from each other, so fostering a cooperative learning process between classmates went a long ways towards everyone focused on learning instead of competing with one another. Our clinical teaching sessions and clinical patient sessions went a long ways towards making it feel that we were learning and were the reason why I was confident to go out and work right after finishing the course.

The course provides the hours necessary to acquire the Registered Massage Therapist designation, but you have to take another exam first. This was an excellent program, and it could not have prepared me better for the job I would be doing when I finished any better than it did.

I loved being able to stay close to home in sunny San Diego! I really enjoyed my professors and my classmates. I made a lot of great connections at UEI. I didn't like how sometimes I felt like nothing more than just a number and a price tag to the administration. They were more focused on money and tuition than on education. United Education Institute prepared me for my current job, and I couldn't have asked for anything better! I am a Customer Service Representative and I feel prepared to be competitive in the global job markets of the future! Thanks UEI!

Job Placement Trouble

Sure, they take your tuition money and give you the education....But when it comes to supposedly helping you find an externship or a job, the school support staff disappears like magic. They never return your phone calls.

They lose important documentation for license submittal and then they try to cover their rear ends by lying about when they submit the documents. I have yet to find a job and because they submitted my licensing documentation late, I'm unable to be licensed. Stay Away from this campus!!!
