ECPI University is a great school, and a very professional organization. They have done so much to help me in my education. I had a horrible experience with my last school, and ECPI more than made me feel at ease after the nighmare that I endured. First, the admissions staff was helpful and made the application process too easy. They were there to answer all questions that I had.

The student support services is more than outstanding. When I need assistance, I can email them and have a response within 24 hours and will get a full and thorough response to each and every question. The instructors are very helpful. They have hours set aside each week for you to chat with them. If you need help outside of that, they will email/message back and forth with you. I have never waited more than 12 hours to get a response from an instructor. I've even been given the instructor's personal telephone number via email because I was so lost on one subject. He took the time out of his Saturday morning to help me understand what I was struggling with.

There is no way that I can express the professionalism and support that I receive from ECPI University. In my opinion, they go above and beyond to help students.

If they support other students the way that they support me, I don't know when they sleep because they are available to me almost every time I need them. And when they aren't available, they respond within 24 hours.

If you are looking at taking classes with ECPI University, I urge you to take at least one class. If you don't receive the support that I have, you can move to another school. But, I have no doubt that this will not be the case because the staff at ECPI is very professional.

I really enjoyed the fact that I was able to get a college education from the comfort of my own home. Due to my work schedule a traditional campus was not an option for me and I thought I would never be able to get a college degree and then to find I could get one in less than 2 years was a dream come true. The books were mailed right to my door. The books were very informative to the courses that I was taking.

I am not sure if its the same for all schools but our courses were only 5 weeks long. In reality how are you going to learn everything you need to know about a subject in 5 weeks? Several classes we were to read 3 chapters in 1 week, have assignments, discussion posts, and a test. All of the courses were really rushed. I made good grades only because the book was wide open the whole time. So much information with very little time to grasp it. There were discussion boards which allowed us to talk to our classmates. Another thing I didn't like was they gave you projects as a team. I we have different lifestyles, study habbits, and live all over the world how can we work on a project together. One class I had to contact my instructor and ask that one person be removed from my team because they was not doing their part and couldn't be contacted. It wasn't write for them to get a grade for something they didn't contribute in.

I did learn a bits of information on a variety of subjects but not as much as I should have for the price it cost me. I took beginner, intermediate, and advanced MS Office. Made a 4.0 in all courses. I went to take the test to get certified for Word and Excel and failed both tests twice. After failing they asked me what did I feel was the problem. I told them the questions on the certification test wasn't taught in my class. In reality they picked out stuff to teach you and the rest you have to learn on your own because the classes were only 5 weeks long. After graduating I am now going back over my courses one by one and actually reading the text books to learn what I didn't learn in school.

I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and to think there is so much that I don't know that I should. ECPI is more less concentrating on people getting their degree ASAP and sooner than other colleges, which is important to most people. I now look back and wish I had chosen a different school that the courses were longer to give me time to actually learn the material before moving on to something else. This was an expensive price to pay for something I am not happy with. I kinda feel like it was a waste of my time. I am now searching into other colleges online so that I can continue my education but I am more educated now than I was then about what is best for me and my future needs.
