It will take me years to recover financially. They ruined my life and my family's chance of being secure financially.
Here is my opinion. They care about the money. Not the students.
They are not operated by reputable people that care. It is all words to decieve you.
They say they 'change lives one person at a time' They sure do.
They put you in deep debt and give you a degree with nontransferrable credits and that employers laugh at.
They take away your future and your kids future.
They take all your grant money and file loans for you and you end up paying back loans you didn't even know you were getting.
They have many ways to get your money while you go deeper and deeper into debt. Books, supplies, scrubs are all overpriced and you have to buy from them.
Many instructors seem frustrated and do not know how to or maybe want to teach. They talk about themselves or read from a book or just tell you to start reading and check in once in a while.
They put out little effort to help you get that good job they told you about. Good luck paying back the loans on the low paying job you might be lucky enough to get and no way you will be able to pay rent and food and bills much less get anything extra for your kids.
Please do not go to this school. This has happened to me. When I started I took four classes where the same teacher which was teaching the main course for my field. He would come in class start talking about his weekend and then proceed to talk about his plans next weekend. The going through the book he would flip through book telling me that I do not need to know this or that. The book is 3000 pages and he only talked about 700 of those pages. It was like that with the next four classes.
It was so bad that the last to classes all the students dropped but me. So after complaining to the school they did nothing. I sent a letter to the ACICS. They told the school that he is to be pulled from the program. Still the damage is done. Four classes where I learned nothing. I was told that they would provide help before I take the exams. How ever they did not provide that help. I was also told by a fellow teacher that the books for the program will make me fail the exam cause there is not enough information in the book itself. This is not a good school. There in it for the money and not for giving students an education.
