I am getting ready to graduate and the year and a half I have been here, iv'e loved every minute of it. The instructors are great and the deans are always there to help you. I feel like I am fully prepared to experience putting my training to work. Take my word, I loved the training I received at Career Point!
Im not gonna sit here and argue with all these coments. Instead im just gonna say that im grateful to career point. I dont know where i would be with out the experience i got there. I can now say proudly that i did something in my life that actually paid off. I can single handedly support my familly without having to send my pregnant wife out to work just to pay the bills. I apreciate what this school has done for me.
First off I would like to thank Career Point for helping me be the first in my family to graduate from college and set a great example for my kids. I started off in the IT program about couple years ago and not only have I found a job in something interesting and that I have a passion for, I now also gain the ability to take My A+ certification and diploma anywhere, and have tons of options and roads to pursue in my skills area. Let me just add I think this is a great school for someone like myself with kids and want to be able to do something thats going to be around for a long time.
I was interested in the LVN part time program & scheduled an appt to speak to someone.I spoke to a young lady.I was only there for information but was told before I could get any I had to take their test. took the test & passed, after about an hour I still didn't have any info.
I asked 3 different people there what the price of the program was & all of them said the same thing we can't tell you because everyone qualifies for different things.I think they are all trained to say this because I couldn't understand what the big secret was.I also wanted to know how often classes started & was told that there is no way of knowing until they start again but I already knew the next class was to start in Jan.2011
About an hour & a half later I still didn't have all the info I needed but they said I needed to return for the LVN entrance exam. After a few days of thinking about it I decided this the worst school I hade ever gone to,they are not organized, lied in my face & I knew it so she called me to remind me of my exam date I told her that I decided that I'm not going to this school she said"uugh" & hung up on me.
After having a bad impression from my information appt.I just felt like this was not the school for me.I have since toured Galen nursing school & just fell in love w/it.My tour guide& info person gave me all the info I needed the price.it was just an awsome experience.I've decided to take my entrance test July 17 because I know this is were I'll be going.
This school is a good jump start for all of those who have commitments in their lives already. The instructors knowledge is vast, and the students are very welcoming. Its been a very good experience, and i would encourage anyone to give it a shot.
